Need help picking new scope for my 223 bolt. I currently have a 3-12 bushnell tactical but doing more shooting at dusk and it is not cutting it. I need recommendations on a good low light scope most shots are within 300 yards.

Depends how much scratch you want to blow.. Theres a diavari 3-12x56 my buddy has in the classifieds with an illum dot reticle that could be one of the best low light scopes on the planet! The vx-5hd 3-15x56 or a leica with the 4a reticle would work well too. Theres lots of nice stuff out there

anything in the mid to higher end stuff with big glass up front should be plenty good for that. I literally just spent an hour in the dark with some binos and leup, leica, zeiss, nightforce scopes comparing low light capabilities.. id give that diavari a hard look, hopefully youll save me from buying it! The leup HD scopes are really nice for the dollar spent too. Good Luck

I've got a NXS in 3.5-15 on mine and it works great. I'll admit though that I sometimes consider selling it and putting a 2.5-10 NXS on it just so I can have a wider field of view. The only time I've ever used 15x on that rig is when I'm shooting paper. Plus I'm pretty sure the 2.5-10x42 I'm pretty sure has digillum which means green or red illumination and I prefer the green. Other NXS models are red only.

Leupolds are great at dusk. With my mark 4 I could clearly see my 200 yd target on a full moon night. The vx3i have the same glass. I would recommend a leupold.
