Is this bullet seated deep enough?

Ok thanks very much . See i still dont no how u to set the lands yet thanks
There is a 'very rough' account of how you find your lands in this thread. If you're NOT doing that right, you'll find your seating depth off by several thousands. You might just wind up creating a dangerous pressure situation which leads to serious personal injuries. Be careful!!

So the 2.9830 is my over all length of the round so . From the tip of the head to the bottom of the round is it ????

I think there's a couple of different conversations about different rifles going on in this thread, getting confusing

The distance to the lands is different on EVERY rifle. You will have to measure that yourself on your rifles to find the distance. You will also want to measure this distance with every different bullet you plan on using.

Instead of typing all this out, maybe I can find a video on YouTube explaining how to do this process...

I use the Hornady OAL tool, along with the Hornady comparator tool on my calipers.

Here's a video showing how to use the Hornady tool, since you already have the comparator, you will only need the OAL tool and a modified case gauge (they're cheap).

Here's the OAL tool...

Here's the .300WM case gauge...

The intro is very cheesy, but this is a good video showing you the tools you need, and how to use them properly.
