I'm looking for a landowner or place that may allow hunting hogs in Oklahoma? Want to go in January or February. I don't know if it helps but I'm a veteran and have had many firearms safety classes if that helps. Would trade a case of beer or a reasonable trespass fee. Also would be interested in any public land to hunt. At the least if someone could point me in the direction of who to call like a game warden or landowner or association that would be great. Would even trade taking someone antelope hunting or something.

Wish you the best of luck. I live in south central Oklahoma and I ask about two land owners a month if I might help them with their hog problem after hearing them complain. No takers. They lease their land or only allow family to hunt.

Don't have any hog info, but I'm looking for antelope info but don't know where to start looking. Hog hunting is also on my list.

Last I heard Black Kettle is pretty well overrun with them so you might look there.

Geo have you checked Texoma? I believe they have some state land open to hunting on the north side or they used to at least.

Awesome! Thanks
I've only been there a few times to meet dog clients and we were quail hunting but there's a whole lot of really good hog habitat there including lots and lots of oaks.

I'm seeing a ton of acorns around here this year particularly on the live oaks and once they start hitting the ground the hogs are guaranteed to be hitting the oaks.

I Hnted hogs there last year and it was really nice, my wife came along... i think you should check them out.

I am blessed. My small property borders Corp. I have 150 class deer and turkey that I quit counting at 70 in one group. I have not seen a hog close to my place. The few hogs are north in the Little Glasses area. It is true I am spoiled. If I go I at least want a chance to shoot at a hog.(Yes, I allow new young hunters to hunt. Only them, since it is pretty much a caned hunt.) I PMed blum to learn more about his experience.

Sounds like you have received some good tips. It really helps to know someone in OK. There was a guy over on Hunting.net complaining about all the hogs on his deer lease, but when PM'd about it, no response. I offered multiple Oklahoma references from Ranchers and gave him my info to no avail. Everything is about the almighty dollar these days. :( Good luck on your quest to find a great hunting spot! :)

Thanks. Like many have said on here, I just find it odd that so many people complain about the "hog problem" yet nobody wants to let you on to hunt them.

Maybe boat is the best way to hog hunt Oklahoma. This one swam from Bridgeview to Little Glasses on Lake Texoma.
