Didn't see a thread for this yet, pardon me if I missed it. Lots of cool stuff coming next year. New ELD-X bullets in .338, .257, and 6mm. That 230 gr .338 ELD-X (.616 BC) looks like it would be killer in the 338 WM.

More info on the new 6.5 PRC, looks pretty impressive! 147 ELD-M at 2910 fps and 143 ELD-X at 2960.

A few other things in there, but those are what caught my eye.

Interesting. Hornady is at least innovating more than most. However the PRC 6.5 is the same as my 6.5x284. And 150 fps less than my 6.5 Saum...

Yes, i know about this, i check their website from time to time, can't wait for pre-order to start...i am getting a mountain load of the new products.

The PRC is based on the Ruger Compact Magnum case IIRC. I'm not sure if it will have a following or not but, at least they're trying to be innovative.

I cant imagine anyone using the cartridge in a PRS style match. PRS shooters moving to less recoiling cartridges like the 6 Dasher.

I know many on here hand load, but as one who still often shoots factory ammo (I struggle to find the time to hand load properly) I'm thrilled to see the new Precision Hunter ELD-X offerings, particularly in 270WSM and 7mmWSM. My son shoots these (145gr) in his 270 Win and is consistently 0.5 MOA or better at 300 yards out of his nearly-stock Model 70. Impressive offering IMO.

George Gardner himself used the 6.5Gap in a few events. He won either the Sniper's Hide Cup or Gap Grind (can't remember which) with that rifle. While there are a ton of 6mm PRS shooters, there are just as many that won't touch a 6mm. Each to their own.
