Tried to take advantage of our east side early season. Not a lot of ground, and private paper company on a lot of it. They have elected to close it secondary to fire danger. Not unreasonable, but disappointing.

So we went to the range and shot up a bear target. If we'd had the chance we could have got it done. Too hot for groups mostly one and done.

I finally got some of the .308 130 Hammers down range. Not LRH by, but I really like this bullet. We tend toward youth model rifles these days, and we're always looking for ways to keep performance up, rifle weight and recoil down, and I think this is one of the more usable bullets to come along in awhile. Hoping we can punch more than paper.
