I think the Snowy Range is near the unit I will be hunting, is it near Unit 10?
Yes. Unit 10 is the NE side of Snowy Range. It's a decent area. I've killed elk there. Lot's of dark timber.

I am going to New Mexico Unit 36 With Compass West Outfitters for the late rifle hunt. Then leaving there and headed to Wyoming to hunt Cow elk.

I live in Wyoming, so I have a general tag. I'll be all over, south west Wyoming, Up to just south of the yellow stone border, over near Lander, South of Afton, and possibly near boulder Wyoming. I may or may not hunt all these areas, just depends on where I get a chance to slam one first.
Idaho Unit 14
I'll be hunting Idaho unit 16A. Early season any weapon starts sept. 15th. Same unit but new area for me (normal place road washed out and could be years before access) Scout trips have shown a lot of elk and mule deer in the new area though. Season will be open for mule deer also.
