Co unit 53

Been toying with the idea of a OTC back pack hunt for second rifle in unit 53 for elk. Has anyone hunted this unit? Some insight or Info on the unit will help a bunch.. I was thinking the western part of the unit near Crawford Co close BLM and near the private land..

we just talked about a camping trip up to Crawford after greenup to scout around for an otc elk hunt w some friends on another forum. Prob be April or May.
