CURTIS ACTION- Updated with Pictures

Re: Curtis action

Gents~
We had good intentions to post up pictures of the action this week. We actually chambered a barrel, and spun it on the action the other day. After careful evaluation of how we designed the bolt handle, we decided to change things a bit, thus the reason for not posting up pictures...

Our original design had a boss machined onto the bolt body, with a beefy bolt handle threaded into that boss with 5/16x24 thread. We didn't like the look of that boss on the rear of the bolt body, as it created a void in front of the shroud, and the transition was a bit lacking. We are changing to a conventional strap type handle, with a threaded end to accept different knobs. Although I say "conventional", nothing about this action has proved to be conventional. We will have to make the handle as the bolt body is .750". "We should have those changes accomplished by the end of the week, and will post pictures then.

We have refrained from posting pictures because of the cosmetic changes we've been making in the last few weeks. Please bear with us...

Re: Curtis action

Still working on the bolt, but thought we would throw out a picture of the short action body. A few subtle changes will be made to the action body, but this will give you a general feel for what we will be peddling...
This is the "Vector" action that can be had in both short and long configuration. It will be available in single shot, BDL/AI, and AW configurations..

We'll spill a picture of the bolt as soon as we get it finished later this week...
