I just don't have the range to justify this rifle so it's for sale. Bordan Timberline action, Wyatt magazine, Terry Cross bolt knob, Rock 30 inch Sendero profile fluted barrel, Kirby Allen custom muzzle brake, Jewel trigger, Manner's MGAT stock with flush cups with backpack/biathlon style sling, Manner's rings and base with a Nightforce 5.5x22x50. It also come with Dies from Shawn Carlock and a case of 300 grain Matchkings minus less than 100. It is essentially brand new without a blemish and a turnkey package without the year plus wait. 1/4 MOA with my loads. I love it but am not using it to it's potential. Action was ordered from Bordan before they went into production and in an interesting story I got Seekins and Bordan together to make the bases for the action. The brake works so well a 12 year old can shoot it.

$5500 for the rifle
$6500 add in the scope
Throw in the brass, bullets and dies if whole package is purchased.

If necessary Kirby Allen said he would inspect the rifle for the purchaser with a refundable deposit* only if Kirby finds an issue. Here it is folks! Wait nearly two years or have it in your hands in two weeks-ish...

That's a beautiful rifle. I would buy it if I didn't already have a 338 RUM. Also on a Borden action.... they sure are built right, mine is also a 1/4 MOA shooter.

Whoever gets this rifle is going to be very very happy.

I remember Kirby telling me that he has to tweak even custom actions he receives for builds but this one he didn't have to lay a finger on as it was perfect.

Jim Borden built my rifle, but also said that Kirby could build one just as well. They both obviously respect each other and both are as good as they come.

I'm going to forward this thread to my buddy that is not a LR member who is looking for a big 338.

According to my bathroom scale which of course is less than precise it weighs 15 lbs.
