Just getting into long range shooting and would like to buy a good reloading setup. I have the bought the dies I needed (redding micro-adjustable 7mm STW) but still need a press and everything else. If anyone is looking to upgrade to new equipment I will buy your old setup so I can get started. Need everything so let me know.

I was looking at that kit. Is it built strong enough for loading the 7mm stw? I've heard of some companies presses not holding up well to having to resize large magnum brass like the Lee press for example. That is just what I have been told, not first hand experience.

dakotagoon,
When I moved away from home back in the mid 80's, I bought a RCBS Rockchucker master kit. It has reloaded literally thousands of rounds, magnum and otherwise, and still shows no sign of giving in. It came with everything I needed and I still use the accessories that came with that kit (scale, powder measure, loading trays, primer tool, etc..) I figure it will last me until I decide to go high tech or I die, which ever comes first. You should look into one. If Bill Bailey reads this post, he would probably be able to hook you up pretty quickly.

I have RCBS but believe the Lyman to be the better deal! The son-in-law got one for Christmas and it is super strong and will work large magnum cases with ease...maybe Bill will hook him up with the Lyman!!

Dakotagoon,

Give me a call tomorrow @ 800-522-3314 or email me @ the address in my profile and we'll see what we can do. I don't have the Lyman kit but can set you up w/the RCBS.

Thanks,
B.J.
