    My biggest problem with savage is there resell value. Can't hardly give them away when trying to sell them. Now make it a ruger or rem and its no problem getting rid of them for a decent price.

    IMR 4064 in .243

    I can't remember the load offhand but it was in a 10 twist barrel so your results are gonna be different with a faster twist barrel. I'd work up some loads and shoot them. That's the only way you're gonna find out what's best.

    4064 works great in the 243. I've had good luck with the 87 grain Bergers and 4064.

    I've got 2 sas cans. They're both the older models (non-mx). One is the 30 cal arbiter and the other is an 223 sentinel. I got the arbiter from rangerwalker and the sentinel from mile high when they had their fire sale on them. I haven't had a problem with either one and have had nothing but...

    I really don't go for perfectly clean. Your gun is going to copper back up in a few shots anyway so once I get most of the carbon out and there's not much blue on my patches I call it good.
