    6.5 CM or 260 Rem

I picked 260rem because if 260rem production ever ended I can easily resize 308 or 243 to 260. Also extra case capcacity if I need it. Works great for ringing 1000yd steel targets.

    6.5 creedmoor Browning BLR

i'd love to see a takedown BLR in 300blk with a threaded muzzle. they have the takedown in 223, it would be a simple matter for them to provide it in 300blk.

    .300 BLK at range

why? why not? some people like a challenge. other people shy away and avoid challenges.

Best Scope in the $800 Range

my vote is the pst. Vortex Optics - Viper PST 6-24x50 FFP EBR-2C<br />(MOA) i have it on several rifles. best bang for the buck imo.

    Vectronix Terrapin

    not unless it does meters.

    Shooting/Hunting Partners in WA

interlake in kirland is extremely convenient for sighting in and testing handloads. the rifle range is at the bottom of a ravine so there is rarely any wind. the 200 yards available there is plenty for accuracy testing.

First Long Range Rifle Build, Few Questions...

if you don't have a muzzle brake, get one asap. 300wm is a bruiser especially in light rifles. nice choice of scope and reticle. that exact scope and reticle is my favorite, i have it on both my ELR rifles.

    Vectronix Terrapin

for some inexplicable reason the g7 won't do meters or mils, where cheaper rangefinders like the leupold 1200tbr does both. utterly baffling. come on gunwerks!

    You want to scope WHAT???

i have the scout setup on my m1 garand and there's several annoying problems with it: 1) your selection of scopes is EXTREMELY limited 2) there is only ONE scope with parallax adjustment. this matters when you want to take your garand out to 600+ 3) there are exactly ZERO scopes with any...

    Leupold 1200i

the 1200i is hard to beat for a truly pocketable rangefinder. it has great clear optics and the illuminated display is one of the best. and it's hard to beat the price. as the norm for most rangefinders, especially ones this small, the IR laser can easily get washed out by sunlight. your best...

    Anyone using the Horus Reticle?

i really like the ebr-2c reticle in the vortex pst. it's great functionality and avoids being extremely cluttered like the horus.

    Vortex PST series

I have several of the PST 6-24 FFP MRAD with ebr-2c for long range target shooting. i like them a lot, value for $ is hard to beat.

Long range places to shoot around Seattle

the shooting spot just off of sheep company road north of yakima in the wenas wildlife area is very popular. if you're willing to hike up the side of the mountain you can easily do 1500+ yards.
