    We get the most accurate load at 3000-3025fps with a 250 SMK in front of 94 Grains of H1000. Load has taken elk at 780 and 910 yds. Edit: 30 inch barrel 1-10 twist

    We hunt in northeast oregon so these are rocky mt. elk. 200 miles tothe west is where the roosevelts are. My bull was a weird non-typical, we had never ever seen one like that so I decided I better take him, he is 52 inches wide.

    Montana rifleman action

    I built a lapua off of the Montana barreled action, the gun is wicked accurate and killed a 6x6 bull elk at 780 yards. We have drawn 5 tags for this upcomming season and the Lapua is just getting broken in. Let me know if you have any questions??
