I worked at a ranch when the Ostrich fad was in full swing here, and learned just how dangerous they could be, they kicked quite hard -would split a plank.One guy roped one of these birds and put him in the hospital.They could sure reach to peck too, glad the fad is done and gone.cheers

Wondering who has experience with long eye relief rifle scopes.I have a leupold scout scope on a browning blr now, it is not focusable.I am looking at the Weaver product now.Any feedback?

I have had recent success with reloder 25 as well and the heavier bullets.It just might be the best combination yet for my .25 /06.

I cannot see what it hurts to use hotter primers for everything.I have gone from using standard to magnum primers on all my centerfire rifles.

I believe the longer the tube the more difficult it is to keep harmonics /vibration in order hence a longer barrel needs to be quite thick to be more efficient.This can create a portability/weight issue.Don't serious benchrest shooters have short/fats?Another question...If a long range shooter...
