    Len I would try a few as you stated but i think you will gain neck thickness when you take them down to 7mm Tomahawk#1

    Len I would turn necks before fireforming. I make my 338 tomahawk cases from 375 ultra mag brass and turn before fireforming and cases come out perfect Tomahawk#1

    Case capacity gained with improved cartridges

    Len The shoulder on the 300 ultra is .520 and the shoulder on the Tomahawk is .535 which gives you a 5 degree body taper with a 35 degree shoulder. Neck length is .286 Hope this info helps with your reamer development Tomahawk#1

    Pa. deer season opens monday!

    We hunt from a hilltop overlooking clearcuts and strip jobs, ranges are from 0-1500yds. Setup is chain drive bench and rifles are 300WSM for the close in stuff and 34 inch barreled 338 Tomahawk for the looooooong shots. Both wear Leupold long range glass, the 300 wsm has 4.5x14x50 M1 and the 338...

    Larryaguilar Yes the 338 Tomahawk exists and does quite well. Ray Romain has this reamer and it is based on the 300 Tomahawk case. I form mine from 375 ultra mag brass.
