    7mm RM loads

Better go buy a Rem 700 7mm mag :D Just kidding. , My rem700 can take bullets longer than my lands anyway though. Mine shot rl22 best close to the land like you, but it shoots h1000 amazingly well and i'm about .1 or more off the lands...might be worth trying a couple different...

Best .223 bolt out the box

My best experience has been with a CZ 527 Varmint. Amazing out of the box accuracy, some guys don't like the set trigger, but I tuned the trigger in unset mode to a crisp break just under 3 lbs. It loves 69gr HPBT Sierra's, and they do a great job on coyotes. I have got .5moa to 525 yards so...

    Bullet choice for consistancy?

You may want to try some different loads, powder, primers somethings...i haven't done a ton of chrony work, but i've never had a centerfire with extreme spread of 100 that i couldn't shrink down by changing powder or primers. I know some primers will tend to have higher extreme spreads, some...

Want to take my rifle to the next level !

+1 on the bedding...bedding my rifles has made big differences. I like bedding with pillars and devcon epoxy. The 168 berger is a great choice, I haven't tried the 180s yet but if your barrel has the twist for it I'd try them first.

Dang! What kinda barrel you have on that rifle blkdog? That's a less than one tenth inch group at 200 yds! You better go start shooting competitions and winning yourself some new rifles with that gun! Congrats that's a great group.

Thinking 168 berger for lng rg shooting and hunting

I shoot the 168's out of my 7mag. I'm still fairly new to the long range shooting, but these seem to perform great easily moa at 1000, and are much less picky to load than some of the other's i've tried. Just consider your twist rate, my rifle has a 1:9.5" twist, I haven't tried the 180...

Loading Recipe For a 7mm Remington Mag

I had the same question not long ago and had a hard time finding good info. I have been reloading the 168's in my factory Rem 700 7mm RMag, for a few weeks. I started loading h4831sc, and had some success, my gun took 3.4 grains over Bergers listed max before it started showing pressure, but...
