.30-06 I had a typo

has anyone tried the 200 grain barnes lrx for a .03-06? And if so what kind of accuracy results were you getting? Also what powder, primer, casing, and powder charge, worked for you? I think H4350 will be my powder choice. My barrel length is 24in with a 1:10 twist. Any info would be great!

See my problem is I don't know how far down the rabbit hole to go. I could bed my rail, lap my rings, do both, or not do any of it....

I haven't bedded the rail, didnt know if that option was better than the other. Does it seem like most guys that go with a picatinny rail mount bed it instead of lapping? I could see how that would work since you are truing the rail to the action. Where as if the rings were tapped into the...

I think the main reason why the 6.5 bullets are taking off is that you get more for less in a way. You get a mild recoil, high bc, flat shooting bullet that performs just as well as some of the magnum calibers. Granted the magnums will always have more down range energy at longer distances, but...
