Nice bulls gentleman. Heading to MT for a general elk hunt in about 6 weeks. Struck out on elk last year, so the freezer only has a few deer roasts left.

This was 200 grain that was caught up against spine at 618 yards. Retained something like 80% of weight. Not surprising didn't separate at that distance.

200 gr eld-x factory precision hunter out of a 300 wsm. Rifle likes every factory ammo I've put through it, so 1/2 Moa or so. 1st game animal, raghorn elk at 618 yards, front quartering off. Brisket shot, bullet severed big arteries and then must of hit bone and went straight up to spine...

Best factory ammo on market. The accuracy and terminal performance has been great. I have quite a stockpile, but I wish they'd start replenishing the market with 300 wsm.

Great photos. Enjoyed looking through everyone's success. Ate my Montana elk and deer tags this year. Disappointing, but it happens now and again. Now on to stacking up some WT does for meat.

This is a 300wsm precision hunter 200 gr eldx from an elk shot at 620 yards. Velocity would of been around 2000 fps. I can't remember exactly, but weight retention was around 85%???? As you can tell, there was no separation at that velocity.

Have killed 3 elk with 200g eldx from 620 yards down to 240 yards. Happy with all performance. 3 deer with 200 gr eldx. From 40 yards to 330 yards. All dead quick. That's a heavy bullet for deer. I had one with more meat loss than I'd like, but not too bad. Can't argue with performance...

I've picked up some factory 300wsm 200gr terminal ascent and it's showing. 6-.7 MOA out to 400 yards so far. I've got NR big game combo for MT this fall and wanted to try something factory other than the eldx that my rifle loves.

Sorry, late to this. My carbon fury in 300wsm is sub MOA with everything I feed through it. No feeding issues and has 2 elk (620 yards, 310 yards) and 4 deer (60-240 yards). I can't imagine wanting anything else out of a rifle.
