    Need Help - 7SAUM 180gr Hybrid Freebore

Hi all, I'm currently stationed overseas and looking to get an order for a 7SAUM (Short Action) placed so it's ready when I get back next year. This rifle will be a 80% hunting rifle up to elk, and 20% LR out to 1500+. I'm trying to determine what freebore I should get. From looking at...

    6.5 CM GO TO LOAD

I've been loading the 140bthp since eldm are unobtainum and my R700 shot the 140 AG sub .5moa. At 600rds in my R700 5R G2, the lands are at 2.235" CBTO or about 2.835 COAL with the 140bthp. These bullets don't seem to be very jump sensitive, and I've been getting .3-.5moa at 2.805 COAL...

    Sleeping Bag Help

The only mil bag I would use would be the bivvy sack (actually pretty good), all the actual sleeping bags sucks. I've used marmot, sierra designs, north face, and currently have two Nemo bags that I love.

    Nightforce ATACR 4-20x50 F1

I was literally in the same boat. Excited to see a few reviews once they're produced, but it's specs look to be exactly between the 4-16x50 and the 5-25x56. https://www.nightforceoptics.com/riflescopes/atacr/atacr-4-20x50-f1 Magnification Range 4-20x Focal Plane First Focal Plane (F1/FFP)...

    45-70

It's on the To Do List for my 1895 GBL. Rugged confirmed their Obsidian 45 will handle subsonic 45/70 loads from the 18" barrel. Just have to find a good smith who can thread and cut back the magazine tube.
