The 243/308 one takes a round at 2.810" thats what I would use The Credmore one I haven't seen, but my guess is that it the same mag remarked, if it is shorter it wouldn't fit properly in the triggerguard housing, but like I say I haven't seen it so might be wrong We sell and fit some of them...

My Rem 700 308 ADL 19" barrel is 5lb 10oz with a 2.5-8 leupold on and a sling fitted, bare gun is 4lb 4oz approx, to get to that weight you have to do a fair bit of milling, drilling stock screws hollow etc etc. Nice to carry

Haven't dealt with them for a while after some difficulty getting them to do pretty much anything, I won't go into that, and they used to be great, have plenty of their reamers, but gave up on them a while back. Anyone order Rem 700 lightweight f/p assemblies recently and have them turn up okay...
