    I believe the confusion is on why the OP shouldn't simply buy the 270 Turner kit to start with. Why buy a 30 cal and then need to buy mandrels for 270.

    I currently use the Sinclair 1500 for my benchrest cases. Once I get it set for exactly what I want I put a label on it and leave it that way. I use a Forrester for making any initial cuts to remove some brass if needed. I'm also buying a 21st Century to see if it's any better.
