I have been reloading for some time and I still can not figure out why some brass resized full length still chambers hard or not at all ?

Taking my Mod 70 win .300 win mag shooting 200 grain nosler partion with a back up rifle savage 111 .300 win mag shooting 180 grain Federal ammo. Going for Bull Elk in AZ on November 27th.
