Greg from Da UP of Michigan

Hi everyone, I'm not new to the forum, but I am starting to post and read more of others posts. I'm from the UP of Michigan. I'm mostly a whitetail deer hunter, but I've also become addicted to night coyote hunting, reloading, and target shooting. The information I have gathered from this...

    Builds getting heavier and heavier

I went heavier, but I'm going back to lighter. The heavier rifles are nice for shooting at the range, but not so much for lugging around the back country.

    MT Elk B Question

How do refunds for Montana Elk B drawings work? I can't decipher their manual. I understand as a nonresident I pay up front. If I don't get drawn how much of a refund do I get for the Elk B tag? I don't believe I can refund the fishing/small game, which is fine. I know that I get some kind...

    OnX Question

I don't think you can subscribe for only one month. Give them a call tho. Their customer service over the phone has been great in my experience.

    How accurate is ONX?

I think the price of OnX is worth it. The GPS is very accurate. It's a tool I couldn't live without now. With that being said, I sometimes wonder about their property lines and non federal/state public land listings. I don't take their land listings as gospel.

    Coyote hunting tips

Best tip I can think of is read/watch all you can and spend time trying to apply it in the field. For a beginner practice makes perfect and you won't get perfect without practice. Don't overthink it and have fun!

    Foxpro remote holder

Alaska Guide Creations makes a holder that I use on my scanner/bino harness. It's reasonably priced and it could easily be fitted to a tripod leg.

    What mid priced rangefinder?

I really like my $350 Bushnell The glass is clear. it reads accurate out to the furthest I can test at my rifle range, 600yds. It also has bluetooth software for ballistics data. my main dislike is when using the ballistics data it shows the windage before the elevation. To me it seems like...
