There is a lot of bad comment about the PMR 30 on u tube. I have a new one, it has had zero FTF or FTE with CCI Maxi mag, what's recommended and with Federal Champion, both 40 grain, in 150 rounds + of shooting. I love mine !

Just two things that may be of some help would be for you to find .000" to .002" headspace at the shoulder. Neck size your brass and not full length until you know the H. Spc. setting for your dies. What does a .333" Nk. bushing do for you? My VLD bullets like to be into the lands .015"

Because the 6 MM Creedmoor can produce such high velocity, information about the 87 V Max's ability to stay together at high RPM's might be best discovered from some gunsmith who has built a similar variety, say a 6mm .284 or a 6mm o6.

A powder charge that gets you 2600 FPS. My load is 43.8 grains of Varget. In a bolt action.

Thats a shame. My 6 BR shot better with 4166 than it did with Varget.

Yeh, had a 22 WSSM that shot a great group once with a clean bore, and that was all it could do. Talk about a bore burner, now that was one.

In the shooting season I load 30 to 100 rnds. or more per week for testing and competition, it gets demanding but what I do is a step-by-step process, an hour or so then get away from it until another day or later on. With the price and availability of components being what they are my shooting...

The difference I have found is in the ability of the scope to arrive at perfect resolution at longer distances. You have to pay a lot of money to get that resolution often found in optics in the $1,500 range and up. The Athlon ($150) spotting scopes I have looked through have good resolution but...

Cartridge brass is all good in my opinion, sorting it by weight and length doesn't hurt, prep the pockets and the flash hole and ultimately careful neck resizing and shoulder bumping makes it great.
