Try some RL16, it worked great in mine with bullets in the 70-80 gr range.

Preferred Barrel Blanks are their own company, partnered with MGM. Wilson barrels are a completely different company, with different owners. That said, I’ve got a 300 BLK Preferred Barrel (Bolt Action), and it’s an excellent barrel.

Good question, but they would be the best to ask. IMO, it would be worth it to get the absolute best.

I’m pretty sure if the OP called them, they probably do make them, but they aren’t extremely common, so they aren’t on their drop-down on their website. Personally, I’d go with a Brux or Bartlein, just my preference.

Favorite depends on what I’m hunting, but wing shooting it would have to be my Ruger Gold Label on fair weather days, on inclimate weather days it’s my Stainless Ruger Red Label. Both are 12ga, but I’ve really come to love my 20 ga as of late, and really want to add a 28 ga.

The way I understand it, is that LEO’s don’t have the authority to ask for NFA paperwork, unless it is in a state that the particular NFA item is banned. In that case they can ask, and failure to provide would be violation of state law.
