I'm planning on rebarreling my old 700 in 7mm mag. It will be used for deer and pronghorn. I figure shots out to 500 yards. I plan on using light and heavy bullets. My question is what would be a good barrel length? It will have a muzzle brake. Thanks

65gr H4831sc with a 168gr matcking. It a killing machine. I haven't got a dog at 1000yds yet, but I will. 72gr H4831sc with a 120vmax. It leaves bites Pd chuncks for the coyotes. Not sure who you are. Hope your ready for April!!

I have a buddy shooting one. I don't know the loads. He's using a 140 Berger. He shot about a 8in group at his first 1000yd match. I was there when he shot a PD 1220. I thinking shooting about 2900fps
