the 3.6" eye relief shouldn't be a problem. I have the same scope on my 300rum. The scope hasn't kissed my eye yet.

How and what does everyone use to clean their lens on their scopes and binos? I have corn dust on my lens. The covers flipped open when I was throwing out corn.

I have a new sendero 300rum and I want to know if I am crazy for wanting to paint it. I have all the equipment necessary, I paint model for a hobby. Just wanting to throw some camo on the stock, barrel, and scope. I am just afraid cause it is new ($1800 worth of new). Thanks

If it is new, $810 is about the going price. I got mine for $790 new. I can't tell you anything about the 338win, but I can tell you the 300rum is fun to shoot and reload for. Although, part of me wishes I would have gotten the 338rum. I guess you can never be happy.

The COL ended up being 3.640".

I have loaded 180 gr. TSX in my Sendero 300 RUM. It took quite a few trys to get the C.O.L. right but it was worth it. At 100 yrds., 3 shot groups, it shot .14" center to center. I almost got discouraged with the bullet until I talked w/ the tech. support at Barnes. They were very helpful...

I set the caliper dial to zero. Then I moved it back and forth(over and over again)and it still reads zero. But I still have the same problem mentioned in the above post.

I have a mechanical stainless steel caliper. This will be difficult to explain but here goes. When you open it up to measure a casing, the tips of the jaws (flat part, not the edged section) measure different from the part closest to the body. The same goes for the middle of the jaw.
