I am about to purchase a Vortex viper pst 4x16x50 in FFP but I am wondering if its really needed. I have and use a quality LRF and I am planning to have vortex to make me a custom turret in yards so would the FFP still offer any advantage over the SFP version?

Let me also add that I do reload and would continue doing so for the caliber chosen. velocity for the three rounds @ 500yards is 270wsm 2291fps - 300wsm 2116fps - 300wmag 2100fps. Agian it appears the 270wsm has the edge over the others If I understand this correctly.
