Wear it out! Then replace it with a nicer custom barrel (Bartlein, Krieger, etc....). I mean you're probably look at 3500 - 4000 rounds before it's worn out. That's a lot of bullets!

I took my Tikka 7mag to a 6.5 PRC. It has been a great shooting rifle! 24" Krieger Barrel.

I took some pics. The 6.5 PRC works fine in the 7mag magazine. The M+ magazine has a rib that won’t let you load the round. I couldn’t get it to show up in the pic but you can see where the round stops. Also the round appears to be too long to fit the M+ mag.
