i have read a lot of things i like about the tc. i do have a 700 30-06 i got in 1980 it has never given any trouble. havent done any mods to it. it shoots well but my tikka is just flat more accurate however in 25-06 tikkas only get a 22.7/16 barrel just saying.

some of my friends shoot ssts in 300 mags over 600yds and kill deer very well.

in 25-06 adl is 100 cheaper. opinions? thanks.

grab a box 100 gr core lokts. had a 25 that did like yours. finally got it to shoot 100 grainers and 117 gr game kings well.

finall got a chance to shoot it since i stole it from a buddy for 400 still in the box. put a cheap centerpoint my son had on it and grabed some 130s at wally world. fusions core lokts and powershoks. at 100 yds the fusions grouped about 2 inches(dissapointed) core lokts about 1.5 and power...

gonna try those accubonds when i get it. what is the lubalox coating winchester loads on them? someone told me its bad for the barrel?

you already have patience...youll be sucessful and have a lot of fun with that rifle. find what shoots most accurate in that rifle. bullet placement is more important than bullet weight.

once i hit a target at 800 with my 270 cause my buddies who shoot 300s said it couldnt be done. however dont think it would have enough energy for game pass about 600. 200 or less is our ranges here anyway. always wanted to try a 270 wsm.

im getting one my question is i shoot fusions in my 30-06 cause they group best. im a shoulder buster will a cup and core like a power shok hold up at 25-06 speed less than 150 yards?i know stop shoulder busting but im getting older and dragging deer out of ravines or cutover is harder than it...

ive known him for 40 yrs. hes already got 2 a bolts and a weatherby in 270. plus he doesnt have anything in it. now for a scope.

most 06s shoot the heavier bullets well. at those ranges they should drift less. i dont know if the bt is as accurate as the accubond that far but they are way cheaper.

no one mentioned the 257 weatherby. its expensive but a heck of a round.

what did i say about 41 years shooting remingtons yep all with the 06s. im just old school.
