just curious if any one knows off the top of there head how much fps i would gain if i went from a 24 inch barrel shooting 3000fps to a 26 inch in 300wsm. im bored right know and im thinking about my future build and wanna play with a ballistic calculator. :)
just wondering but isnt that the way zeiss rapid z works. i have been looking at getting one with the rapid z 800 reticle. if not then i like your way of doing things. i got a 300wsm also thats in the works of getting a make over lol

Im having the same problem too with my 300wsm. run some numbers through a ballistic program. i am no reloading god or anything but from what i ran through the program you dont gain alot out of the 200grn accubond over the 180accubond. not much difference out to 700yrds. i am shooting the...
just a thought but i checked one of my local gun stores and found a 338/378 weatherby accumark mark v with a 28" barrel and accubrake for $2,199. would that be an alright platform to start my build with that action or would the gun be accurate enough of the shelf.
