With book COAL and virgin brass couldn’t the pressure signs be attributed to excessive head space and bolt slap? I usually jam my bullets the first go around to help prevent this. And I’m not familiar the the edge and if it has crush when FF from 300 rum. Just something else to consider.

I was looking at mpa ba ultra lite. Yeah 36 oz. I get it. A decent stock is maybe 25 or so plus bedding. Bottom metal 2-3 oz. just food for thought. The element was lighter but more pricey. They both may have shorter butt options for smaller shooters.

Yup after all the shootings they didn’t want to be associated with guns. So they got out of the sporting optics market and with it the warranty is no longer supported.

I did try stock packs before and didn’t care for them myself now did I like the lace up leather ones from cabelas.

My main concern about drilling the stock was I didn’t want water soaking into the foam core from rain. I have yet to pull the cheek off and sleeve the holes and silicone or epoxy. Heck I may even just epoxy the holes closed and use Velcro. But alas. I’m waiting for my new gun to play around...

If I recall the mbrace had a bit more bearing surface on the scope and we’re a tad heavier. Never had problems with the m10 but they are moving to mbrace as it’s replacement. I heard the m-10s were being discontinued. I’ve been waiting for my new rifle to come in So I can order rings for it.
