Does the brass move in the same direction every time it walks? If so I would recommend you turn the shell holder 90 degrees and try again. If it still walks in any direction I’d say you have an out of tolerance shell holder.

Some FMJ 30 cal bullets have bi-metal jackets which are magnetic so a simple magnet test won’t necessarily be an accurate indicator of bullet type. For what its worth, those look like 147g FMJs to me. AP rounds have black tips, tracers have orange tips.
