375 H&H mag Winchester mod. 70 in syn..stock. because it works on Elephants and it can almost match the 3006 in trajectory. The kick isn't as sharp as a 300WM it a just a big push. You might have to sneak a little closer then with one of the 300's. But that's hunting. You won't have to worry...

I have a Striker with 4 different barrels. 243, 308, 270, and 7mm08. I have no problem on a 10" steel at 1200 yards if I do my part. using a 20moa rail and a rifle scope 4-16x or a 6-24x I have a 2-7 handgun s ope for hunting. Yes get anything to get started you'll love it Rupe

I've shot 1000 yards with my Striker handgun in .270 with 130gr nosler ballistic tip no problem also used 140 gr as well. You can take deer, black bear.and elk with a 270win no problem if you put one in the boiler room. Imo it's a great round. That's why it's been around so long.
