I am currently running the ramshot with standard primers. I'm going to try running magnum primers with it to see if it helps at all to tighten the groups up. Did you run mag primers with the ramshot magnum when you tested it? I would like to try RL powders or h1000, but currently cant find any...

I just started reloading for 6.5 prc. I've found some decent loads but wonder if anyone else has tried using ramshot magnum powder in their prc? Also, I was wondering if magnum primer may be better for ramshot magnum powder? Thank you.

One of my loads I've had good luck with is 42 grains IMR 4350 (this is a max load per Hornady manual so work up to it) 143 ELD X, and a CCI 200 primer. Has worked well I two 20" barrel and one 24". Not super fast but around 2600 fps and vary accurate.
