    FedX has gone woke

Yes. I did ship a rifle several years ago. I had sent a T/C Dimension back because the goop came off the stock. T/C supplied the shipping label. No problem shipping. Ruger uses FedEx, This business about not being able for individuals to ship firearms to other individuals has been the law for...

    FedX has gone woke

The prepaid mailer from the maker is the answer to all your problems with handguns. The prepaid labels are also more economical. I have not shipped a rifle recently.

    Belted Headspace

Maybe, I'm missing something here. The collar was heated to weaken the bond of the thread lock used to anchor the collar. Here, the same collar went back into the action with the aftermarket barrel. Nothing was sacrificed or defaced. Had heat not been used it would have been necessary to use a...

    Belted Headspace

Evidently, Savage uses some sort of thread locking material in the barrel nut and at the plug in the rear of the bolt. I have a Savage 110 FP 308 Heavy barrel where Bubba dinged the ring up. Looks like he put something in the grooves and commenced to hammer. We heated the barrel nut and...

Is this 300 WBY leade beyond hope?

One of my project guns is a Vanguard in 300 Weatherby. How many rounds estimated had gone through the rifle OP was talking about. Even hot, friend must have shot a fair number rounds through the rifle.

    Leupold warranty service

Most any place I have shopped Leupold scopes are listed as "out of stock." In doing shopping many items are out stock with list prices. I suspect this shortage had to do with the lock downs. L

    Leupold warranty service

I have some antique Leupold scopes in active current use. My top swap with them with the old 24x M8 Target Scope from the 1970's. Leupold replaced my fifty year old scope with a FX-25. That scope was discontinued shortly afterward. I don't care. The scope works well and looks good on my Savage...

    What press are you using?

Rockchucker: I do some light weight like stuff necking up 308 to make 338 Federal. Also, forming 256 Newton from 270 brass. I have not done this lately but 40-65 from Starline 45-70 brass. Oh, I forgot the 9.3x57 from 8mm cases. Making this 256 case became much easier swapping lube to the new...

Same EXACT load as last years load shoots like crap

Change out scopes to eliminate scope problems as a cause. Scope breaking down can cause exactly what you are describing.

    Leupold warranty service

I just came in from the range. Leupold had rebuildt the adjustments on the 1980 vintage 3-9x40 scope. It was dinged up when I got the scope. Bubba had put the Ruger rings together totally wrong. Next, he used red Lock-tite to glue the mess together. Once we got the rings off the scope it went...

    What press are you using?

I'm thinking your MEC is an "O" frame. That press is awesome. Rockchucker: My forming jobs recently involved making 256 Newton cases from 270's. For fun I made 300 H&H'cases from 375 cases. More recently it was working up a technique for resizing nickle plated 270 cases. Sounds easy? It took...

    What press are you using?

I need a RC for heavy case forming and tough sizing jobs. The Co-Ax is a very large "C" press. The RC is an "O" press. I'd rather stick with a Rock Chucker than abuse my Co-Ax.

    What press are you using?

Co-Ax Press: Not dislike but no longer meets my reloading needs. I bought this Bonanza Co-Ax in the late 1970's.

    What press are you using?

Rockchucker since 1977. Co-Ax is used as a hat rack. Two 550 Dillon's in active use until famine hit.
