Thats a nice looking Sako. Who did the gunsmithing? Is the threads metric? Some gunsmiths that I talked to, dont like to do metric threads. I also have a TRG-S in 300 mag but wanted a tactical type stock for a long time.

I know a guy at our local range with a 6X24X50 that said the reticle was out of focus or something like that. He sent it back and got a new one in 2-3 weeks. He was happy with the service.

I bought some small rifle primers from a local gun shop. Didnt get a chance to use them, but they are suppose to be match quality at $20 a 1000 vs. $30-35 for Fed match.

I got both the IOR 2.5X10 MP-8 and 6X24 with the MP-8 reticle also. I like their etch glass reticle better than the Leopold mill-dot and the Nightforce NP-R2. The price is also very resonable.

I shoot a 30 HV which is a wildcat from Dave Tooley. Its a 404 necked down to a 30 cal. Similar to a 300 Ultra. I usually shoot 90 gr of H870 with a Sierra 220 hpbt match and 95 grains with a Sierra 200 gr hpbt match. Didnt get a chance to crono them, but the 200 shoots alot faster(they...

I use the Sierra 140gr match hpbt in the 500 bulk pack and 130gr Carturucios. They both shoot real good, except the 130gr shoot flatter.

I have the Leopold 8.5X25 with a duplex reticle, and the IOR Valdada with the MP-8 reticle. I like the IORs reticle design better, and it has the quick rear eye focus vs. the Leopold lock ring type. Probably going to sell my Leopold and by another Valdada.
