I use my 7mm Rem Mag. in the spring when coyotes hang up, sit down, and bark at me from a far. I am shooting a 168 Berger over Reloader 22.

True enough. Just remember you have to access the public lands from a public road, or from a primitive road that does not cross private lands.

I have a 3 year old 8x42 Geovid and a new 8x42 HD Geovid. Neither one will reliably range that far on bright days. Heck, they won't even range that far on my pickup truck when I am confirming p-dog kills. You must have an exception to the rule.
