I just got a can of 8133 for the 26 nosler,no load info yet from any sources other then to say it is on par with rl33,i got it for the copper...
They don't change burn rate of the powder, just add a little pressure to a a cartridge that may be near maximum as it is.
I still have close to a hundred lapua cases,but i might have to get some of the 28 nosler and run it through my 26 die.
I went with 26 nosler,i have a 6.5x284, 26 nosler and 375 ruger.
I like the range and comfort the 26 affords me although i have shot a few 300 wm...
For 140 though 160 grainers.
I think my 26 will be a big step up from 264wm once they get something slower burning then us869 and the viht powder.
If he objects to the belt.....go with a 26 Nosler

That would be the 6.5x375 martini and haagen,i have a reamer for it,too much work since nosler brought out the 26.

I too like my 6.5x284 been around for 50 plus years,and before that the 6.5x55 swede took a lot of game all the way up to elephants, still trying...
What about the 460 s and w?got quite a bit of knock down with pretty much any bullet you use in it.
How hard would it be to do a model 88 in 460 s and w off the 284? The brass diameter is pretty cloe,the gun is made for 284,308 and 243 pressure.
I have a pound of 869,anybody got any good info for 160 matrix and 869?
