In my opinion the V3 is more of an inland field smaller bird gun and the Versa is more for goose and turkey and for a bigger load at a longer range. I’m not saying the V3 can’t do the same job but the Versa has the extra capacity (3 1/2s) for the extra umph! Both run the recoil reducing gas...

V3 receivers are a little shorter than a Versa Max. But they are very similar in operating functions.

As I am told, the shotgun lines are going to start up first then we'll get into the 700 lines. So might be a little bit before you see new 700's out on the market. But it feels good to hear there is still support for Remington!
