If you are referring to the Sniper X, I think they are fantastic. You can tune them both over the scope or flipped to the side. Also nice to have them over the scope if in a soft or hard case or walking through the woods. Big plus is not moving your eye off the crosshair while checking your level.

The bolt is PF and rifle should have M-70 stamped on it. I agree that "Featherweight" doesn't look right. Mine are roll stamped like Bob said. Classics are all CRFs. Don't own any XTRs. GLWS.

There are way too many good choices for this but at my age; 6CM pushing 108Es 6.5PRC pushing 140Es 28 Nosler pushing 175Es, 180VLDs, & 195EOLs These will cover my hunting needs and also good target cartridges in my opinion.

Yes. RUM follower from MGW works. May have to shorten bolt stop also. Possibly ejector too.

Same exact box. 1340. I thought it might be but also thought it might have 2 vertical stamped grooves to narrow it where the shell rides like the CM box did. Notice the notch on each side of the new follower? Usually for a stamped box narrower. The CM box is the same dimensions but with the 2.8...

Well the parts from Winchester arrived. Same mag box, not sure on spring, but definitely different follower. Funny is the follower is the shorter one like for 2.8 instead of 3.0 mag box so it has pretty big gap fore and aft. WSM follower on the left.
