I have a 338 Lapua built on Montana 1999 action. My guestion is I note that there is long leade or throat and if you want to set the bullet closer to the lands you cannot do to maganzine length, I looked at other actions and I find the same problem. I assume the reason is safety.

Hi There I have used dog town bullets in 20 cal and 223 cal and they are great. I have shot PD and Sage Rats out to 350 yds and they destroy them. you can't beat the price.

Before I built my 338 win mag I sent my spanish mauser action in and had it harden and tested works great and it cost me 75 bucks
