I was told the same thing when I spoke with vortex .

If you shoot 1000 yards or beyond you will care about clarity for glass . There are hunters and there are long range hunters and long ranger target shooters , there's a scope for everyone , there not all built the same .

Tactical scopes are built tougher and better then a hunting scope , there ment to take the abuse on a battle field . I'd rather have something more durable that fragile

well thats how its set up on 3000$ nightforce and i can assure you there are no problems .

then PST GEN2 has by far better turrets then the other two , glass should be equal on all 3. PST GEN 2 has a true zero stop also has 24MOA per revolution of the turret also no need to unscrew turret caps.
