The more ports the more effective but it is diminishing returns depending on how much powder you're burning. At some point, another port doesn't do enough to justify.

Three things have given me erratic readings with all the electronic scales I have used. One is static - get some drier towels and wipe down the pan and funnel. Second is fluorescent lighting near the scale or overhead. Third is cell phone. Don't even have it in the same room.

Lee7588, what thermal are you using with that method? It looks a lot like a FLIR. Do you just ignore the thermal reticle and use the regular scope since that is already sighted in?
