You should give some slower powders a try rl22 or 7828 should work great. Speed will be around 3250 to 3400 plus depending on your barrel. Also try the 80 a-max they been working real well out of my 22-243 ackleys

My vote would be for one on the new savage 22-250 target guns with a 9 twist barrel. It will shoot very flat out to a 1000 yards with the 75 and 80 grain a-max and kill with authority. The fast twist 22 cals are a different breed and will get you past 500 yards with ease. The 12-14 twist 22...
