Watch Philips Wholesales website, they update it weekly, sometimes daily.
They get it from time to time.
We just bought 2 8pounders recently from them.
I have seen a couple of the guys eliminate primer piercing by bushing the bolt and grinding the pin. Those guys were only getting pierced primers on occasion, I was getting them allot. I had the 6Dasher Panda bushing, still pierced them.
The XP has 4 barrels (6BR, 6Dasher, 30BR, & 308Win), only...
I have 3 6dashers (2 rifles & a XP). I find accuracy with the 205 or 205M to be much more consistent. But, all three rigs will blank primers with either 205 2-3 times out of 50.
Switched to the 405, was never able to find a consistent load.
Finally ended up with Wolf primers, never looked...
We were over near Raton NM on the 16th and 17th shooting Turf Poodles, what a blast. Very windy, longest hit for me was 356 yds with a 40X 6PPC. It was too windy for the 223 or lighter.
Favorite shot was at 150 yards. Spotted this little guy near a berm running around. Got my spotter on him...
I don't have any evidence, just my opinion.
First, the residue that is left in the barrel after being burned from the powder is gritty. Push it out with a dry patch, rub between your fingers. Can't be good for the barrel.
Second, I have never gotten a fully formed case with the COW method...
Personally, I am not fond of the COW (or any other filler) being fired down a good barrel. To me, you are trading one set of problems for a worst set.
These fillers harden when they are fired and are like sand paper shot down the barrel. I question whether you are saving any barrel life with...
The rifle is on a Bedded McMillian stock, looks like the bedding was done right. Looking forward to shooting it early next week.
I love the 300 RUM round, loaded up some test rounds, just waiting for the scope and trigger to get here.
I have Jewell's on all my target rigs (6) but one. My sleeved Rem 6BR has a Canjar Lite Pull in her, love it.
I ordered a Trigger Tech for my buddy, don't think he would know the difference between it and a Jewell.
The trigger that is in the gun is one of the Lawyered Up Triggers, tried to dial it in, waste of time.
I ordered a Trigger Tech this morning, got to be better than a trigger with Lawyer written all over it.
Thanks for the input guys. Love this sight.
Helping a buddy set up a Rem Sendero that is in serious need of a trigger.
Looking at Trigger Tech and Timney Triggers.
I have zero experience with the Trigger Tech, limited experience with Timney.
Any comments of on either?
Recently picked up a Remy Sendero 300 RUM for a buddy.
Rifle came with what appears to once fired HSM brass.
First noticed necks are pretty thin and not consistent thickness. Some cases vary from .0135 to .015.
Does not appear to be turned.
My Norma 300 RUM was around .016 to .017 before...
I ordered my new Labradar last week, been tracking it all week long to make sure it arrives timely.
I went one step further in the tracking page and was shocked to find it has been shipped to my old address in CA. 🥵
I thought I changed my shipping address when it was ordered, but...
