First started hunting at 19 when I moved to Forks, WA to work in the woods. One evening I returned to town and learned that an acquaintance had been killed by crossfire while elk hunting. This drama forever changed my attitude about how I would hunt in the future.
In 2009 I was awarded an M.S in Sports and Recreation Leadership, Outdoor Emphasis. My intention was to work in marine/ocean based recreation. Due to a few health issues this was delayed. Always looking for interesting work opportunities.
