    My reloading room

After 12 years I finally got the time and money to redo my room last year. I had this vision of how I wanted my bench to look from the day I moved in, unfortunately life always seems to get in the way. I have a before photo, the build, instal and final product.

    Best Quick Detach scope mount

The thing you will notice from the vid is the POI direction changes with each time the scope is removed so its not just a matter recording how much it moves & changing your windage etc & thinking you will be re zero'd as you don't know which way it has moved! Two things I notice in the video...

    MOA vs MIL

Not sure how that has anything to do with MIL vs. MOA. MIL works for both metric and imperial. Anyway, I don’t have a huge preference anymore until reticle selection comes into play. Then I prefer the Horus, especially the TReMor2 or 3. At this point I have an equal number of scopes at this in...

To carry or not to carry...15x

When I’m rifle hunting I run my 8.5X42 Swarovski on my chest and if I think I will encounter an area where I can really glass I’ll throw in my Swarovski 20-60x80:spotting scope. Even when I’m archery hunting I’ll tote my spotting scope if conditions are applicable.

    Viper PST 5-25x50 opinion

I have a gen 1, not a huge fan by any means it’s an ok introductory level scope in my opinion. I don’t like how thick the reticle is. So I’ll stick with Nightforce NXS or ATACR thanks.

    Hunting with a 308 AR?

No limit on mag size in Arizona anymore also.

    YetiReview

I have been looking for a cooler that is worth a darn and that can hold up to the Arizona heat for more than 2-3 days without a refill on ice or dry ice. My old Igloo 65 just could not cut the mustard on some of my long camping vacations (7-10 day) and hunting (7-17day) trips. I will admit I...

    308 Win at 0.943 Mile!

@ Crusty Buck Todd Hodnett at Accuracy First is getting hits at a mile with .308Win. Also an Army sniper made a 1200yrd kill shot in Iraq a few years back. So the 308 has the velocity and the energy to take care of business, granted its just not as sexy as say a 338LM.

    Gear Weight Considerations

As far as muzzle blast/report and to reduce felt recoil how about a suppresser? Check with UT Department of Wildlife and find out if suppressers are legal to hunt with. Here in AZ it will be come this September.

    Please vote-338 Lapua platform

I have a TRG-42 and love it! But there are some down sides, it is front heavy, and the accessories are pricy, extra magazines are $200+, the Sako TRG bipod $450+. I can tell you that the bipod is money well spent. The way it locks into the aluminum chassis makes it integral to the shooting...
