Grouse taste so good that a sitting grouse is a gift from GOD.

In wis the baits are never to far off a road that you can drive a trk dow and a liit of 10 gal.So every body uses a 5 gal bail.

Havig baited for over 30 years. Most of the bears are seen towards evening but they can and do show up at all hours of the day. But if I only had a few hrs to hunt it would be the last few of the day.

Last bear I shot over bait was with my 416 Taylor 350 speer mag tip at 2450fps at 40 yards. But he weighed out at 490lbs. Dead is Dead no matter what you kill them with. The next one I shoot most likley will be with my 45-70 with a 460 hard cast at 1400fps. I am sure it well kill it well.

I used a 357 carbine on a few deer 158 gr sp at 1850fps kills deer just fine I would want tougher bullet for hogs over 200lbs.
