I would do a .338 WSM if I had a long action to build it on. I loved my .325 WSM, and regret selling it.

They do have a 1:8 twist. So maybe it could be fun, and I wouldn't care if it got bumped or dropped.

Does the PRC need a 26" to really shine? I ask because I had gotten my step son a Ruger American Go Wild in 7-08 and it amazed me as it turned out to be a tack driver. Now I have the chance to pick up the same rifle in 7 PRC. Ruger specs says it is a 24" barrel, but they are probably counting...

Hornady only offers a 200 grain ELD in the .300 Win Mag. Would be nice to see the 220. Choice Ammunition has the .300 Win Mag with a 220 Matchking at 2820. They offer the 7mm Rem Mag with a 195 Berger EOL. But that is "Boutique" and not what I call factory.
